Now onli I’m free enuf to write… haha.. was busy all the while. . . busy sLEepInG ! ^^

Anyway, last week was a one week sem break…

Two significant thing happened. First is.. On Friday, 22nd August, I went for the opening day of a new shopping mall, AEON Seberang Prai City, or simply Jusco Perda. It is one of the largest mall in Northern Malaysia, as huge as Queensbay Mall.

Pictures? That’s what I thought of too. Isnt this a blog? Umm, actually it’s just my personal journal.. but still, I should put up some pictures, rite? And I dont have a camera ! swt.. how?

The traffic was very jammed. Summore it’s raining. Following the traffic, we (I went with my bro) ended up in the underground parking area and we noticed that.. the carpark is so confusing!!.. mainly because the building is ‘L’ shape and the carpark lighting is not yet completed. So, the parking area is quite dim, plus, the markings on the ground is so faded !.. for a seemingly new mall ??

Anyway, the first thing we look for is… food la !… umm, not because we like to eat. We havent taken our lunch and it’s 3.30pm then. We went hunting around for food, but as you know, me n my bro, we dont bother much about food… so, we ended up eating at… KFC ! duhh! haha… ^_^ For those who want to know about the foods available at this mall, I’ve found another blog, vkeong.com, quite a well-known one, which especially reviews food stuffs, and he too, went for this opening.

Next, we went to the TGV cinema… which was yet to open.. still in construction.
But still, we went in… seeing that no guards stopped us… hehe.
We went in a screening room, and we saw…  no chairs! haha.. the chairs are still packed up in their boxes, sitting at the back of the room. Many, many of them. Same for all the other rooms, 5 rooms. But then again, too bad, I dont have a camera !

So, whats next? Find a camera lor ! We managed to find a shop that sells camera. After browsing around and checking the prices, we actually bought a camera ! Nikon Coolpix L18, black edition! It’s mine anyway… hehe.. my, umm… loan money ;P  Actually, a few days back, I’ve already did some research on which camera to buy, cos I started this blog around two weeks back, and it’s not right for a blog not to have pictures, rite? I was looking for a relatively cheap, slim camera, of either Canon or Nikon, and I successfully found one ! Yay! I can post pictures from now on ! ^_*  Oh, anyway, i got the whole package for RM499, inclusive of a 2GB SD card.

That was the second significant thing for this sem break. duh..

So then, we took experimental shots, trying to get used to the camera. We went back to TGV… but this time the guard stopped us.. swt.. so, sorry, cant get any pictures of the empty rooms.

After leaving the mall, we went to Sunway Carnival Mall to watch Death Race. Comparing both malls, from my engineering perspective.. haha… Sunway has a more friendly design and the engineer is probably more experienced than the one designing Aeon. One noticeable flaw I see at Aeon is that the floor for the rooftop parking is not sloped at all !!… which collects rainwater and leaves it stagnant… while at Sunway, the floor is slightly sloped, allowing rainwater to be channelled to the side and drained away.

Anyway, Death Race is a recommended movie for those who loves action and also those who plays Need for Speed.

Other things that I did during the sem break include finishing the book ‘The Four Loves’ by C.S.Lewis, which I started one week back. It has been quite a while, umm, many years already, since I actually finish reading a book.. haha… Cant even remember…

Other than that, early sem break, on Sunday, I watched The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Quite disappointing. The animation sucks, story is typical, acting is bad except for Jet Li. Overall, not a recommended watch.

All in all, thank God for all the safe journeys, His protection, guide, and strength everywhere we travel and throughout my sem break.
